Hit at the Berlin Film Festival earlier film expands shadow puppet style Ocelot's princes and princesses, with a black silhouette of a figure set off beautifully detailed backgrounds Day-Glo bursting with color and kaleidoscopic patterns - subtle use 3D creation diorama -like effect. The film weaves together six exotic fables, each unfolding in a unique locale, from Tibet, in medieval Europe, the Aztec empire, the African plains, and even the land of the dead.
